Doha: The total transactions of Qatar e-Government Portal ‘Hukoomi’ increased in November 2021 at a monthly rate of 9.0% (compared to October 2021), and at an annual rate of 7.5% (compared to November 2020).
The Planning and Statistics Authority released the 95th issue of Qatar Monthly Statistics bulletin.
The issue, highlights the most important statistical changes that occurred in the country during November 2021 in addition to extracts from the results of the 2020 Census.
One of the prominent changes is the increase in the total number and value of sold real estate at a monthly rate of 2.8% and 28.2%, respectively (compared to October 2021), as well as the increase in issued cash at a monthly rate of 3.0% (compared to October 2021), and at an annual rate of 20.7% (compared to November 2020).
Regarding the data of buildings permits issued, the total number of permits has reached 802 permits during November 2021, recording a monthly increase of 17.1% and an annual increase of 5.2%.
The total number of registered new vehicles during November 2021 has reached 6882 new vehicles. The figure showed a monthly increase of 1.6% and an annual increase of 35.8%. Traffic accidents cases without counting the accidents without injuries, a total of 748 traffic cases were recorded during November 2021, showing a monthly increase of 4.8% and an annual increase by 25.1%.
Light injuries are accounted for the vast majority of traffic accidents cases during the same month, with 91%, followed by severe injuries by 7%.
However, 14 deaths were recorded, equivalent to only 2% of total traffic accidents cases.
Among the other prominent changes is the increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), as the General Household Consumption Index increased by 1.34% (compared to October 2021), while the largest increase was in entertainment and culture by 7.92% to reach 100.0 in November 2021.
The demographic statistics revealed that the total population of Qatar has decreased from 2.72 million during November 2020 to 2.69 million at end of November 2021. As for the Social Security, amount reached QR79m in November 2021, for 14058 beneficiaries, recording a monthly increase of 3.9% for the value of social security and a monthly increase of 2.0% for the number of beneficiaries of social security. Total electricity consumption during November 2021 was 3543.1 GWh attaining a monthly decrease of 22.5% and an annual increase of 8.5%.
As for the Banking Sector, Total Broad Money Supply (M2) recorded about QR619.3bn during November 2021, an annual increase of 6.2% compared with November 2020. On the other hand, cash equivalents; including Commercial Bank Deposits, attained for QR963.8bn during November 2021.
The figure has recorded an annual increase of 8.9% compared to November 2020, when deposits recorded approximately QR884.8bn.
