Seville: Minister of State for International Cooperation HE Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met yesterday with Vice-Minister for International Cooperation and Director General of the Swiss Development Cooperation Agency (SDC) HE Patricia Danzi, on the sidelines of the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4), held in Seville, Spain.
The meeting discussed cooperation and relations between Qatar and the Swiss Confederation and ways to support and enhance them, particularly in the areas of international development and humanitarian aid.
In this regard, the two sides stressed the importance of integrating roles and coordinating efforts to enhance sustainable humanitarian responses in conflict-affected areas, particularly in Syria and Afghanistan.
Regional and international developments, along with a number of topics of common interest, were also discussed.
