Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman AI Thani and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, H E Dr Khalid bin Mohammed AI Attiyah, met with Paul Ryan, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, in Washington, yesterday. During the meeting, the two sides discussed Qatar’s effective efforts in countering terrorism, as per execution to the combating financing terrorism MoU signed between Qatar and the United States of America. Other issues of the Middle East and the Gulf region, especially the Gulf crisis, were discussed. The deputies PM emphasised during the meeting on vitality of the GCC unity in light of the current circumstances that face the region.
