DOHA: IGTC - Chubb Fire Qatar, a global leader in fire protection, safety and security solutions, will showcase its extensive range of fire fighting equipment at the Civil Defence Exhibition which opens today at Doha Exhibition Centre.

The expo focuses on safety and security solutions in the region. The first edition of the show, held two years ago, attracted massive interest from construction executives, safety officers, governmental agencies and representatives from the Chamber of Commerce.

IGTC - Chubb Fire Qatar will have a 225m2 booth in which it will show off its state-of-the-art products, as well as host eight of its suppliers, including Fairbanks Morse, Akron Brass, Scott International, Kidde Fire Protection, Nohmi Bosai, Groupe Leader, Angloco and Trelleborg. Together the stand will highlight the latest innovations in the fire fighting industry around the globe.

Rami Batrawi, General Manager of IGTC - Chubb Fire Qatar, explained that despite the recent economic downturn, the Gulf region continues to experience unparalleled growth in the oil and gas sectors, as well as in construction. “This expansion generates a high level of demand for all types of safety and security solutions.

“Together with our partners, we have put together a highly experienced and qualified team of professionals, well-versed in all types of fire fighting scenarios; and they will be on hand at the exhibition to provide prompt and accurate information and advice to all the visitors.”

“Put simply, IGTC - Chubb Fire Qatar is in the best position to address the needs of this ever-expanding market,” he concluded.
